Organized by the Ruby B. Archie公共图书馆 as part of the 家庭艺术节的反思, “来自家乡的话语” will feature a collection of short prose, essays, and poetry by authors from the Danville/ Pittsylvania County region of Virginia.

River District merchants and community partners interested in hosting a workshop, performance, class, or event that embodies the arts and the mission of the festival can request inclusion to the festival calendar by submitting a proposal to the program selection committee via email to readdanvilleva@danvilleva.gov.
