• Written test
• Initial interview, including:
  • Oral interview
  • Fingerprinting
  • Extensive background investigation to include polygraph testing
  • Electronic background investigation
    • DMV check
    • Criminal history check
• Physical agility examination
• Psychological evaluation
• Review by the Chief of Police
• Conditional job offer
• Medical examination
• 18-month probation period

Please note: The entire recruitment process from start to the physical agility examination may take as long as nine months.
