The Sports and Athletics Division of the Danville Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting rosters for the upcoming (NSA) National Softball Association, Fall Adult Softball Season.  Teams must provide game balls, and the ball requirement shall be a 52 Core, 275 Compression or 44 Core, 400 Compression optic yellow 12-inch softball.

Team registration runs  June 30 -August 1 at 5:00 PM.  Rosters must be submitted at the Sports and Athletics office located at the City Auditorium located at 125 N. Floyd St. Danville, VA 24541. Call 434-799-5214

Listed below is some additional information, which must be given attention before turning in your roster.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The sponsorship fee is $210.00 per team. The player participation fee is $15 per participant. All information must be provided on the official playing roster, and ALL applicable fees must be paid before the roster will be accepted. A minimum of 10 players must be shown on the official roster before it will be accepted.  At no time, however, shall a roster exceed 20 players. Divisions include Men's, Church, Co-Rec. Each participant will be required to sign and provide a COVID-19 waiver form at the time of roster submission.

Selection 4.1.3 Alcohol in Parks and on Department Property Under no circumstances will alcoholic beverages be permitted in parks or on park premises with the exception of American Legion Stadium and Main Street Plaza. If any team or individual breaks these guidelines, it could lead to suspension from the league.
