Parking Enforcement

The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for monitoring parking, issuing tickets, and processing all tickets. The primary objective of this officer is to ensure parking availability in the downtown area for business patrons. Without this position, parking would be difficult to find, which could stagnate business. Handicapped parking spaces are also monitored to ensure that they are not being abused. The officer also mails reminders to people who have not paid their parking ticket.
