Neighborhood Parks

Abreu-Grogan Park - 2020 Memorial Drive - Amenities include a fishing platform, kayak launch, public boat launch, and restrooms. The 3-acre park is also home to the Abreu-Grogan Boat House.

Camilla Williams Park - 700 Memorial Drive - This 6.5-acre park on the bank of the Dan River is best known for its river access and bank fishing. The park also features paved parking, two picnic shelters, and a playground.

Doyle Thomas Park - 827 Green Street - Doyle Thomas, also commonly referred to as Green Street Park, is a 4-acre park featuring a playground, an outdoor basketball court, and picnic tables.

H.B. Moorefield Park - 58 West - H.B. Moorefield is a small wayside park featuring two picnic tables, grills, and a parking area.

Grove Park - 100 Southland Drive - Tucked quietly on Southland Drive, Grove Park is a 15-acre site full of open play areas. The park also features a playground, picnic shelter, multi-use fields and basketball courts.

M.C. Martin Park - Memorial Drive - Across from Camilla Williams Park, this small green space features a picnic area, grill, and park bench.

Pumpkin Creek Park - 315 Taylor Drive - Pumpkin Creek's main features include a baseball/softball field and outdoor basketball courts and is usually bustling with sports enthusiasts. It is also home to a picnic shelter and playground.
