The Boat House is open every Saturday until July 26 from 8 AM to 12:30 PM.

All rentals will be on-site and will require exact cash or card payment.

Credit card payments as well as cash and money orders are accepted in advance for daily and weekend rentals by phone or in person at the Community Recreation Office located in the Danville City Auditorium at 125. N. Floyd Street, 5th floor. Community Recreation is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM. Call 434.799.5150.

Checks are accepted if submitted 15 business days prior to rental date.

Equipment Rates - All reservations include paddles and necessary flotation devices.

• Canoe - $40/two-hour rental
• Kayak - $20/two-hour rental
• Standup Paddle Board (SUP) - $20/two-hour rental

Boats are rented in two-hour increments. Additional two-hour rentals may be requested.

We accept boat rentals during our regular weekly business hours 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday with an advance notice. Rentals during the week are subject to staff availability. If you are interested, please call 434.799.5150.

*All equipment is subject to availability. In the event the Recreation Department is hosting a paddle program and equipment is in use, reservations will not be permitted.
