Alternative Detention Services

Programs Available

The W. W. Moore, Jr. Alternative Services Program consist of two court ordered services which are delivered and monitored by the staff of the W.W. Moore, Jr. Detention Home:

• Outreach Detention - Provides court-ordered services that include supervising and monitoring juveniles in their own homes; this is an alternative to detention at W.W. Moore, Jr. Detention home and features services with an objective of preventing further involvement with the juvenile justice system
• Electronic Monitoring - Provides court-ordered services in the form of intensive, home-based services using mechanical monitoring devices
