Danville Parks and Recreation’s Centra Summer Movies in the Park Series will get under way at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 27, at Ballou Park, with the Disney Pixar movie “Monster’s University.”
In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown at Coates Recreation on Westover Drive.
Other movies are scheduled for July 11 (“Tangled”), July 25 (“Elf”) and Aug. 8 (“Despicable Me”). All films are free and are shown on a 20-foot screen. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
